Allan Thomas passed away at home on November 26, 2004. He was 73. Allan and with his wife Lucy Greene were instrumental in starting up the Ontario Trackers group in 1991.

Allan attended many Tracker School classes during the 80s and early 90s. To many, Allan was best known for his drums, pipes and bow-drill kits that he hand-crafted and sold. Others will remember him for his thoughtful quiet manner, his insights into life and Tracker teachings, his fine attention to detail, and his mentoring of those new to wilderness survival tracking, and the ways of the Earth.

The world is a lesser place without you in it, Allan.
